Lol, it's kind of weird that it was the type movie that you would like to see when you were 14 lol.

Seth, very nice work! Will you know what to do walking on the floor with osb under it versus several layers of creaky boards? I would like to do the same to our kitchen but I keep telling Allyson this was supposed to be a 5 year house. Keep up the great work!!!

Got some big items knocked off the list. We got the rest of the floor in and some heat ducts put back in, that was nice. I got the patio door wall and the south wall straightened and the door frames rebuilt that go into the basement and into the pantry. I had to start over on the frames because the wall was so crooked I couldn't work with them. I had to pull the bottom of the studs in about 1 1/2 inches to get them plumb. When I cut them loose they sprung back about an inch on their own. We also go the steps framed back in and re-worked the upstairs floor joist to gain some head room going up the steps. It was a head banger if you forgot about it. I'm about 5'8'' and couple weeks ago I ran up the steps and didn't duck and I nearly knocked myself cold. I'm sure I'm and inch shorter and I can still feel it in my neck. Christian is quite a bit taller than me and he clears it now so we're good. Lots of lights and wiring to do yet but I think our next step is move the cupboards to the steps wall again so I can finally foam the east and west walls.

Feels like we're finally getting somewhere on the kitchen. I bought one of those Froth Pac 200 foam kits from Menards to seal up the exterior walls good and proper. No mater how much bat insulation you put in, air seems to always find a way around it. I put that on about an inch thick and then put 6 inch bat insulation over that. The wind is howling about 35-40 mph today and I can't feel a draft anywhere. We also insulated the kitchen ceiling too cause in a few more years we won't be needing to heat the upstairs when the youngest goes to college. Most of the wiring is finished, and we also started putting the ceiling on today which is taking longer than I hoped. Kari is going to paint that the color of her choosing when it's in then it off to putting ship lap on the walls. The new cupboards are in the shed and I got notified that my floor and doors are in as well but it will be a bit before they go in.

that is really taking shape. When we redid our house after the insulation was in we put "Multi purpose plastic sheeting" on the walls before the drywall went up. ceilings too. That cut down all the drafts. Keep up the good work
