Well, you would be correct were it not for one thing. This is a solid flat tappet. As such, it will "act" about 10* smaller @ .050 than the same size hydraulic. So it's a fairly decent match........that said, I was not looking for something to splatter me against the seat. I want the old Hemi to sound nasty, and it will. Also, I installed the camshaft at 98* intake center line, so that will bring back the bottom end torque and cylinder pressure that would have been lost otherwise. One more thing......first gear in that 833 OD is 3.09:1. That's a 10.93:1 first gear ratio. I don't think it will struggle comin outta the hole. lol
