Over the weekend I didn't get much time at all to work on the car. I did get the LH lower door weather stripping on. I shut the door to see how it fit/shut and low and behold my door wouldn't open again. I had a problem back in January where I locked the door and it wouldn't open at all. This morning I went and robbed the LH door off my parts car. I think I'll steal the latch out of it to put in my door to make this problem go away. I did manage to get my door back open and it is currently working. But I don't want to deal with this when the door is all back together.

I looked online to see what guys were doing to put the holes in new door cards and really didn't see much info on it. A guy I work with mentioned I should get some hollow punches to do them. He was right. They worked out pretty slick. So far I have the LH door panel done. I had to paint/dye it to match the rest of my interior. I also had to do some work to my lower plastic arm rest panel. It was warped bad on the ends where the retaining screws go. My door cards were recovered so they were extra thick. When they installed the screws, the screws sucked that panel in and over time it curled the ends. I used a heat gun and warmed up the ends and straightened them best I could. I was going to buy new ones but that's another $240 plus over size shipping charges.

I have a 2g spring kit coming from Keith at Custom Works which is supposed to be here Friday. It comes with new coils for the front compatible with a LS, new leaf springs for the rear, delrin upper bushings, new HD shackle plates, new u bolts, and a piece to eliminate the rubber pad these used under the rear axle to leaf spring. I also set my intake on to see how it looks with color on it.
