I'm glad I was able to get more miles put on this thing before they started putting the crap on the roads. Hopefully I can take the kids one more time before winter is fully on. Shoot, Allyson has yet to ride in it. That should happen first.
I did take the kids to their last soccer game in it. They want me to take them to school everyday in it.
This past Saturday night I took the car down to see a friend of mine in Creston. That was a cold ride back at 34*.
It's a 2hr trip down there and about 100 miles. I found a couple of old barns but no old gas stations. They've all been demo'd. That's sad. I did find a couple places that have some potential projects that need to be checked out. Haha

Way cool pics Ryan. LOVE the barn. If the weather co-operates maybe I can pose the coupe for a pic or two?

I could see that I guess. Those old tanks could be an issue for sure. Yes sir, we have had 3 snow events so far. That is 3 too many. I've got a few pics i can upload later. Last Thursday I almost drove the camaro because it was so nice out. Good thing I didn't. The evening turned to rainy and crappy then led to freezing rain and snow. That would have been no fun to drive in. Haha
Thanks Mike. Do it! I'm going to try to get a pic of the orange truck, vette, and camaro before the snow is forced us in for good.

I've been driving it when I can. Last week I listened to the meteorologists and got burned. At 9am they claimed low of 35* and no precip until 11pm. So I drove the Camaro. At 3 it was 23* and snowing. SOB! It was great fun with no heat.
We actually got an inch and a half that night but the wind blew most of it away before I left work.
I haven't received my permit for my lean too at home so I am going to have to re think my storage plans for this winter. We've already gotten snow 3 times. We have a couple inches stuck to the ground already. Bad deal. HahaRyan

The Camaro got taken out of storage a while ago and I have been racking up the miles on it. I finally got the vintage air installed 7/3 and took it to Goodguys the 4th and 5th. I got my first raccoon with it this past Monday night. Thankfully it didn't do a lot of damage. It sure is more fun to drive with cold AC!

A big raccoon can tear up a car! A friend hit one on the highway, decided he ought to take his new BMW in to get checked and about fell over when they told him it was going to be $4000 to fix!Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

I've been battling the city to get a permit to allow me to add on to my garage. I guess battling is not the correct word but it feels like it. Just another thing messed up by covid. So in the mean time I got a harbor freight port a shed to store this in so I can get an open garage stall. All in all it is a better design than their old ones. The tubing on the ends and bottom bars actually are integrated so the covers can be tightened to help keep it from flapping around. I've got it anchored in 6 spots currently and will add more when the stakes arrive.Ryan

I thought your town would be kind of like our town. You build something and then go to the counsel and say hey by the way I did this. That's when they say okay and then give you a permit.Seth

Seth, I wish it were but it's not. About 3 years ago they got a new city administrator and they went hog wild on everything. You had to have a permit to paint until citizens filed a law suite and things got changed. It's not as bad now but it still is a PITA. They will let you put up a pole building but the tin has to be horizontal and the front of it has to have 30% brick or rock on the front. Even if the front is in an alley facing other people's back yards. It's getting ridiculous.

I've been driving this thing as often as I can. Usually daily to work until it snowed and was crap for 3 weeks. I even saw Seth and his family in Ft. Dodge back in October. I'll post more pics later. Here's one to warm up your day.

We got about 5" of snow here yesterday, the good news is that there will be no more lawn mowing required here this year! Other then that, snow sucks!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
