Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I thought I had notification set up to notify me when someone replied but I didn't get anything. My back is much better thanks but my legs are very weak and I'm very unstable on my feet and my legs go numb if I over do it. I've lost 120 pounds so far. The proof is in the pudding. I actually got into my wife's car the other day and not only did I fit but I could reach the door safety locks and the shifter. Both I couldn't even come close to doing before. I surprised my daughter by picking her up at beauty school the other day in the wife's car and she was so proud of me. We drove around for over an hour together. We had a blast!

Check your spam folder Jim, all my CHR notifications lately have been going there..........something's changed in the addressing that rings the spam bell.

It's amazing how one tiny thing can make a huge difference in your driving experience. In this case a 4" convex mirror affixed to my peep mirror on the 34 Chevy. With the flat mirror in the position it was in, it reflected against the side window effectively canceling the reflection thus rendering it useless. With the convex mirror I can now see perfectly. No more wondering if there is a car in the other lane and having my daughter look out the back window to see if it's clear.

I just about killed my back the other day. I couldn't take it any more. I had taken the 32 out the other day and it embarrassed the hell out of me by not starting in front of my daughters schoolmates. So I pulled the solenoid off and replaced it with a new unit only to find out that it was having even more trouble starting. It was acting like the battery was dead and it was clicking while I went to start it. I was at a buddies house when it did it and he's kind of a car nut and we narrowed it down to the engine not being grounded. So I grounded the engine to the frame and lo and behold it starts like a dream. So then I laid into my car and it's stupid latch mechanism in the door. That was fun, it took almost 3 hours to get that stupid latch out. There's about 25 screws holding the door panel in as well as a garnish molding with of all things drywall screws! I literally had to bend the sheet metal in the door in order to get the latch out and get the new one in. the three bolts holding it into the door jamb were painted over several times and were a total bitch to get loose. I'm happy to announce I've put on over 200 miles without the door popping open but now the speedo isn't working...Sigh! It's always something. Then went to a show with her car and it wouldn't start again! Damit! Today was install the new mini starter day. Hopefully this does it. Pain pills and a cup of tea. I'm beat.

    Keep working to get healthy.

The life changes you made haven't been easy.

But it just doesn't seem as miserable when the self-inflicted pain was incurred doing something you love.

Keep chasing the gremlins. You'll get them all in time.
