    It uses a Double Ujoint (Cardan Joint) but only to allow for motor mount and steel flex. The engine and clutch (there is no transmission) and rear axle all operate as one unit and the truck moves around them. The drivetrain and rear axle are assembled into a cradle which rides within the main frame. see photos.










    This all doubles as a ladder bar arrangement as well. My YouTube videos cover it as well as the direct drive clutch setup.
