I used #6 screws to hold down the plywood.
I did not glue since you never know when you have
to take things apart, don't think its needed anyway.
The stain is mahogany than cleared with polyurethane.
I did not use pop rivets to hold the aluminum strips
down. I used some small square head screws from
McMaster Carr. As I said, I like to be able to take things
apart. If interested I'll post some info on that. In the
hospital now, but hope to be home soon.
