I cut this panel in three pieces. I trimmed the bottom off, and ran a new bead to
match the raised side pieces. Lots of fussing around to get the proper
clearance around the bottom of the grill shell.

I see some cars without this piece, I think it adds a lot to the car. Now I have
to do the other side.
