How are you doing Rich? Hope you're on the mends and feeling better.

Ditto hope you are feeling better. Fires here making it hard to breath for everyone, worse for people with preexisting lung issues. We have many sick babies at work, smoke hard on them too!

I have been fighting stomach problems which they think is a side effect
from COPD. I have had a friend helping other wise I would not get much done.

Installed the rear roll down window, and got the seat belts in. I'm using 1/8" rubber
matting with diamond plate design.

I decided to run the mat up the firewall which I had dino mat on, and did not want to
glue too. I used light gauge steel to cover that area, and glued the rubber to that. It
can be removed.

I got the dash, and windshield in. Of course the dash will be in , and out for wiring.

glad your doing better . i am blessed that my lower lobe expanded well. i move air well but still get winded fast. i dont feel worse i just have to rev up the pump
but i would likely be slowing down anyway now that i'm 66 . i just pace myself now.
wish my falcon was that far along

The doors drove me crazy! I had the reveal lines matched up perfect before
last tear down, and they moved. Had to remove hinges, and tweak very
carefully in my press to get things right again. Oh well.

Just read through your whole thread, wow you've done some outstanding work. The frame fab, welding and body work are just super nice. I'm a respiratory therapist so I know about copd, you are a trooper for sure. Just be careful with that O2 in the shop, it would suck to light your face on fire while grinding or welding!

rich , are your belts retractor bolted down ?

Shine: It's great to hear your doing so well with reduced capacity. It's amazing what we can adjust to when needed.
Yes they are bolted down, all grade 8 bolts, and installed according to Julianos install sheet.

v8nuts: thanks for the kind words. I am aware of the dangers associated with oxygen, and let my friend
do all the 'sparky' stuff! LOL I've been thru rehab 4 times, and all the therapists were great people!

i've never seen ones that mount like that. weights must be different to lock them. see something new everyday .

Thank's Mike, here's one more. Got the rad, and shell on this morning.
was able to get shell insert in without any scratches! Also installed the
stainless trim on the hood side of the shell. Hard to see in the pic. That will be it for awhile.

It is looking so nice and I'm glad to hear you're getting better! I really like the mat you have chosen too. To me it just adds a sort of industrial era build theme.
