First time I used the wheel drum puller. It worked well. I cut and peeled stuck drums off in the past. All the brake parts were new-14 years ago. I am replacing them all, both sides (about $200).
When I put the old dry rotted tire back on the rim there was a small leak at the bead. The rims were pretty pot marked before and after sandblasting. Guess I will have to get some new rims and tires.
I have the doors off the hinges and I almost have both fenders off. Most all connections were nut and bolt. I am considering tacking a threaded plate at each receiving hole located on each wheel well.
The passenger floor pan and extra 18 Ga. steel are in.
Spent time at the pool with a few of the kids (included the littlest). Helped my son with his mowing job. He helped me cut our lawn and clean up the garage (every weekend chore). I hung a fire extinguisher.
All 6 kids were here and we grilled which included my wife's homemade jalapeno poppers. Smores are waiting.
Hope everyone had a safe, fun, and productive weekend. The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.
