No I planned to totally redo the car after I finish the truck. I'm bored with the color on the color its 9 to 10 years old and its time for a change. I have many plans for the car and yes the paint scheme of the car will match the truck. Here is a test panel of the color I plan to paint the truck.
I missed the pic of the "slapper".....is it this thread or can you post another?

The green looks cool! I like it!

Randy, check post #13 - 55/58 Chevy truck build
Bam, the handle of the slapper appears to be hefty. Did you weld several layers of plate together and then sand to the contour you wanted?

No I made it out of 1/4 thick metal. I also like the ones made from old leaf springs.

Its in this thread post 13 and thanks for the comment on the green. It kind of makes me nervous because I'm very conservative when it comes to color but the truck needed a color that popped a bit more in my opinion. I was going burnt orange but man if you go to shows lately blues, orange, red, are everywhere and I want to be different.lol

I working on it as speak. I just took a break and saw this post. Nothing really to post as far as pics, just doing a lot of primer and block sanding. You know the dirtiest, hardest, and patience testing work.lol

My wife just made it home so I have to get out of here before she sees how dirty and dusty I am in the house. Oh oh.

And especially that fine primer dust that flies and lands on everything. I don't mind that part of the job as long as I have a good mask to rear to stop the dust blocking the air passages .

    Here you go Navy7797,

I finally got some color on the truck, well the interior. I could not wait to see want the color would look like so I just thought I'd shoot the interior just to see if I really liked it.

Nice looking color, hard to find a green that looks good but that one sure does! Thanks for the update.

Thanks man. Yeah the green made me a bit nervous because color can make or break your ride. I thought it was a nice green but once I shot the interior I went from 90 to 100 percent convinced that I picked the right color for the truck.
