    I am not seeing the opening for the stake pockets. You do want the ablility to run a billboard on the side of the bed...

    Just curious, what's the purpose of the stake pockets if there are no openings in the top rail? Simply there for stiffening & visual from the side?

    Yes Roger they offer a bit of stiffness plus if you have ever seen a bed without them they look kinda odd !!!
