The worst part of the "Golden Years" for me is that everyone talks too fast and chews up their words. The other thing that really sets me off is an automated telephone system. These companies apparently haven't thought this through. Every day, there are 10,000 people retiring, so there will be more and more of us old folks who are fed up with having to deal with computers and automated phone systems, trying to buy products and services online or by phone. The only thing worse than an automated phone system is an automated phone system that doesn't work like it is supposed to. Now, you've really pizzed me off, so I hang up and you lose a sale. When are you CEO's going to come to your senses?
