Dave, I always wanted one but never realized how nice they are for indoor storage and family space until we started using this one. I doubt we ever get rid of it. I might get the wife a sedan of some sort when all the kids are out of car seats. By that time there won't be any large family sedans available.

Ryan I've owned a Suburban (5.7) for over 20 years( not the same one) now and would not be with out one. Great for road trips, and when the grand kids come by. Comfortable and can haul anything just take the third seat out. Chris uses it for back and forth to work all the time. Over 20 MPG on the road 18/20 in town, but where we live there is hardly any in town driving.

Charlie, I got her a 91 old body style chevy burb 2 summers ago and she hated it. I liked it but it got crap mileage. It had a TBI 5.7, 31's with 3:42 gears. I thought it would have done better than that. I ended up selling it before I got the axe.

Thanks, I doubt I could it now after the wife has driven it. I'd gladly build one for you though. I have a line on an 05 and an 02 which both have blown engines. The guy wants me to convert them but it's been a year of hot air and no work.... We shall see.....

Good to see all the kinks worked out. What kind of MPG are you getting with it?

Most of the driving she does is in town and it has been getting 18mpg. I figure that's pretty good considering it is so heavy and I'm told dhe drives with a lead foot. Haha We'll have to road trip it (as soon as I fix the A/C and see what it'll do on a stretch.)

Here are some pics of it sitting in the drive way. It's got 2000 miles on it since the ring and pinion episode.
