Got the Rack and Pinion for the truck. I'm using a T-Bird rack, new no rebuild. Have to paint yet. I also got my gas line run up to the carb. I used Aluminum tubing and covered it with a very thick shrink tubing that has heat activated adhesive on the inside and it bonded to the tube very well. Mounted the tubing to the frame rails with some aircraft grade adel clamps, just happen to fine some laying around the shop. I left the last foot or so uncovered as can be seen in the pic.

I like your idea of shrink wrap on the thin wall aluminum fuel line! I have a roll hanging on the wall, purchased by the guy who started buying stuff for the '32, and I've been hesitant to use it fearing damage from a flying rock, or worse. Your shrink wrap sounds like a good approach. Mind sharing your source?

Here's a couple pic's from the label on the shrink tubing. I also measured the wall thickness at .030 . I got mine at local electronic's supply store.

Still need to make the wrapper install gauge and tubing etc.
The cut/half moon shape is for the machine gun. Tank will also be pressurized aprox 2-3 psi, they didn't have fuel pumps.
