The best part is the inevitable moment it demands it's pound of flesh, you won't even see the blood spots! Can't think how many times I've just painted something and proceed to smack a knucle and bleed all over it! Beautiful job painting it! What color will the engine bay be or will it be the same?

Engine bay will be ? Not really sure what color combo it will be. The frame and suspension components are black along with parts of the engine so maybe the rest will be the red. All inputs on this matter are welcome. I'll be looking at other trucks and cars to see how folks did theirs.
    Thanks to all.

I like the firewall to be body color and the inners frame color. You could do all that black too. It just really depends how you want it to look in the end IMO.

That maybe a good combo. Too much of one color can be overwhelming sometimes.

Pulled the cab off today and started working on getting the new rear-end set up. 1st thing already need to make new tail pipes from mufflers back. I'm sure there will be more, brake lines etc.

Here's a pic of the engine and trans back in the frame. I'm setting up the quick change rear.

Thanks for the complements guys. Its becoming a sickness to paint every nut , bolt and washer etc. I blasted the starter and painted it also. I'll be afraid to drive it for fear of getting a chip in the paint.

    Thanks Sharpmark !

Today I put the cab back on the frame to do more things that need doing, steering, gas pedal and other things that I need to rethink. Here's a few pic's.

It's looking like you've made great progress. The picture of the back of the motor, it looks like the valve covers are very close.. or is it just the picture?

    pics are always decieving.. LOL..

Just the picture, once there's some color on there it'll look different ( I think).
