I almost don't want to say.
They found missing seals on the forward drum which fried the forward clutches. There was also a bearing missing in the overdrive section which took out the sun gear. So they're replacing all the clutches, the sun gear/drum, and the bearing. To the tune of $600-$700. It is what it is but stinks at the same time. This trans has been a PITA for a while. I've had it out 3 times before in another truck, and have a lot of money in the dumb thing. Before I put it in this truck, Dad went through it and installed my billet input and some billet servos. He thought he found the problem and fixed it. I'm guessing he was hurting when he was working on it and over looked the missing items. Oh well, it'll be fixed now. I hope. Haha
