Dave, I would never want to put one of these motors back in a Taurus. Even with the whole drive assembly out there was no room to work and bolts hidden in places that were impossible to get to. Plus I bashed myself in the side of the face with a breaker bar, cutting the crap out of the side of my head and swelling my eye almost shut. Not a good car day.

I did a lot of research on the fuel injection and spark wiring and have decided to go with a build it yourself Megasquirt system rather than the factory computer. There's a few guys over on the SHO Furums that are running these and really like them.

Ouch!!!!!! Those breaker bars can really leave a mark!!!!!

I certainly am glad to see you guys working through and evaluating all the EFI options, should be a lot of help available when I'm ready to start doing mine!!!!!!!
