Keep up the good work Bobby!
And all the 0ne,two,three year old ones,(and a few others)are being snapped up to be shipped to NZ,to their new owners..A friend down the road has a 2001 Mustang Shelby, and his father in law snatched a 09 GT out of Texas last year,,5sp,with only 1500 miles on it,cos the owner couldnt get to grips with three pedals,so the story goes..(he bought another new one, identical, with auto)..
This one is now in its final stage .

Hmmmmm.......I would have guessed the "final stage" to be clear coat.....;)
Lookin' good Bobby!!!
Looking good Bobby. We got my Mother's 68 home and will begin work on it this winter. I think I'm going to give her the wheels and tires from my 40 to put on it. Oh yeah, is it in color yet?
Thanks guys , also stuck with it and did the underside of hood colored and cleared .

Bobby looks like you have the original hub caps on there. I remember searching all across the state trying to find some, in the early 80's for my 68. I paid a premium for the used ones in good shape that I found. If you go with mags, either keep those for the stock enthusiast buyer, or sell them on Ebay. I believe they still are worth a bit.
Those wheels were known as "Styled Steel wheels" that's why the premium price. And with the correct hubcap...$$$$
Yes those are the originals from a 68 GT Still have the correct bias plys on them . - I also have the originals that came on the Cougar for 69 with GT caps .
I got lucky and picked up all 4 with caps for $200 not bad . Caps can bring $75 a piece .
.
Didn't get much done stayed up to late last night . But still sanding and should have this and stone guard in color tomorrow .

I wouldn't get much work done if that first picture was staring me in the face! :)
Baby got BACK! rofl..
Yeah, the '67's did add a bit of weight to the back end compared to the early models, didn't they? Got worse as time went on, too. I mean, just look at a '69 edition.....
