I'm a little afriad of the home improvement type insualtion because I have heard stories of it falling off in extreame heat conditions, but mostly all yours is on the floor it seems so hopefully you'll be fine. Hushmat, I thought, costs just about as much as Dynamat. I was looking at some other alternatives like Eastwood or one other I can't remember the name of. I have heard that full coverage is not needed, but thought it might be hard to find that compromise. The thing that confuses me about Dynamat is all the extra layers they try to sell you plus they claim no thermal properties in the base foil layer.
