    Well....I looked up the rear axle tag and I do not have a ford 9 inch as thought.....Instead I have the beafier 9 3/8 with 31 splines with a 2.80 ratio.....GOOOOOOOOOOOD for highway mileage.....LOL

    engine rebuild...... Had the block and heads hot tanked......repainted the block, timing cover, and new oil pan dark ford blue, heads and new water pump aluminum,



    Valve lapped the heads, cleaned the valves good, put new springs and retainers.






    Never take life too serious.....You wont make it out alive

    Cleaned the pistons and put new rings....




    new oil pump


    bottom half assembled



    New Summit racing 262 Cam with lifters....new double roller Edelbrock timing set......... back lash checked.....



    Weiand 8012 Highrise dual plane aluminum intake with Ford Racing Valve Covers



    and block mostly finished....have old carb to mock up with 1 inch spacer plate with Ford Racing Air Cleaner/




    Still have new Edelbrock 1405 600 CFM manual choke carb to put on, and headers after its fitted to the truck.
