I don't understand why you want to dowel the main caps----------they should be fitted properly in the register and even as good work that you do you will be interducing 20 points fo a misfit----------

Marty at MTS Cadillac suggested doweling the caps as my motor is blown. Caddys are only 2 bolt main. Not quite sure what you mean when you say misfit 20 points
