Steve,
The missuzz wouldn't say where she found her but it wouldn't surprise me if Unc had something to do with it.

I'd say she's a transplant from Ft. Myers, Fl, but since Pop's decided to desert us it's not as much fun anymore.........Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

All kidding aside,
She's working out pretty well, put a piece of sheet metal over a buck, have her sit on it once or twice and wala, the metal fits perfectly.
I have to stop this, she's starting to grow on me.

Having surfed the net for 10 yrs and served as a Admin on a sizable Chevy forum,I want to comment about this thread.Sometimes on a forum you follow a build where the work being shown is first class, but the way the thread is either written or presented isn't that good.Or you find the thread is very well written or presented and the work is questionable. It takes a special kind of person to be able to do both. And I think it is kind of rare to find that. The number of views and posts on this thread is showing that it buy far is certainly both.It is one of the cornerstone threads I think.
So I am sorry to take a minute in this off topic post.I just wanted to let him know the utmost respect and regard I have for him. That I hope he keeps it coming to the end.The work in both the thread and the car shows.Well done mate.

I think I like Steve's version of Jack's helper better. Remeber kids this is what happens when you develop a liking for high fructose corn syrup!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

You Gary have spoken some very true words of wisdom sir about our Steve. Another couple of people who had that same ability but sadly have departed from this site is Ken Thurm and Don and Sons ( Itoldyouso ). And I sure they have been others but I still miss those 4 people and oh, the updates of the wild cats at the workshop. Kens work was on the same level as our Steve's here which I only can dream about, or maybe that is have nightmares about.I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

We loaded up the car with a pair of old curtains and several sheets so we didn't scratch the doors and set off for Leicester to see the Bigbossman, signwriter extrodinaire & champion cake eater
On the way we swung by Krispy Kremes to pick up a sackfull of doughnuts as the Bigbossman will do anything for doughnuts
I think we may of interupted something as the Bigbossman had his bedroom attire on
We had a quick looksee at the doors while Miss Whiplash (Mandy) got the kettle on
Wow they look fantastic !!! I came up with a humorous idea and the Bigbossman did the rest, Lettering is done in 23,5 carat gold leaf, the rest is all old school sign writing, The man is talented to say the least !!!
By now the kettle was well boiled and already the Bigbossman was tucking into the doughnuts, One in each hand was a bit greedy i thought
Managed to get them home without a scratch, here are the pics, Its virtually impossible to show how the gold leaf pops in a pic but its certainly bright !!!, unfortunately I can't fit them until wednesday as the hinges are at the chrome shop, Needless to say i'm over the moon with them and can't say thank you enough to the Bigbossman who has done a 1st class job, Thanks Ian.
Thanks for looking. Its aweful lonesome in the saddle since my horse died.
I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
