To convert from an injected 5.0 engine is fairly easy on this side of the pond. You do need a few parts, but everything is Ford and your favorite shop (Speedway) has some of them, Summit the rest

Water pump, fuel pump and harmonic balancer/pulleys, gaskets - normal stuff.

You have to make sure your timing and eccentric drive pin is long enough but that can be made up from a piece of 5/16" drill rod x 1-3/8 or 1-1/2" long.

Bolt it together and you have a full conversion. I chose a front sump pan and a different oil pump as well, but later found they were unnecessary, but ....
