I widened both the red and the purple car gaurds, the purple car in the pics above uses a centura diff, the rear wheels were 15x10 dragways with a 5" back space, they were originally off an XB Coupe, the gaurds were only widened by 2" the red car used a HR Diff and they were widened abot the same.
I have moved my battery to the trunk, but there would have bee enougth room to fit a smaller battery in the original position.
there are lits of different ideas out there, and i seem to find lots of ideas on forums like this one.
looking forward to checking out your build thred, and hopfully updating my own soon as well.
