I did my Ranchero with this same type of ass.
And I am afraid something from the road might pop up
    and hit it.

We drove the Thames for years with this type of system (minus the brake booster) underneath ....... also had the electric fuel pump and transmission cooler attached to the frame .......... never had any problems with FOD (foreign object damage) ........ maybe we were just lucky ........ to me, the biggest thing is to make sure that none of the frame attached pieces are the lowest hanging articles .......... our transmission mount and driveshaft loop are lower than the booster .......... and they still have ample clearance ......... but we definitely won't be hitting any speed bumps at 60 mph

Hey your Thames Van is looking good and just reading your previous post, you must have a photo or two of it before you started the rebuild? Sometime when it is fresh out of the shop (soon) I think some before and after photos could be in order as it such a neat little van.
I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.
