    mounted the coil and fitted the oil filter cover,put new gaskets on the side plates and rocker cover, then painted the engine mounts and thermostat housing and cover, also painted the gearbox and side plates
    Had to cut the inside edge of the oil filter cover so i could get it on as even with the oil filter inside it the casting for the dipstick was holding it out on an angle, so the only option was to remove a section from the inside edge. my converter should be here tomorrow so i will be able to bolt the box back up as well.
    starting to get there slowly and am enjoying my afternoons in the shed.
