had a spare couple of days, got the craps because the van won't start in the mornings, so i stayed home and worked in the shed instead lol.
finished welding up steering brackets and ground up all the welds and tidied up the idler arm brackets, then fitted the B&M shifter bracket and mounted it all in, then run the brake lines to the front end plumbed them in and clamped them down, then i removed everything again lol. then sanded the firewall back and repainted it in the body color, I think it looks better than the red. oh well, that's a few more things crossed off my too do listthe two holes on the passenger side are where the gas converter mounts. just need to give the tunnel area another coat of black under body tar then i am going to clean the engine up on the weekend and give it another coat of red paint, then paint all the accessories brackets and alternator starter motor and supercharger in metallic silver, then fit the new gearbox and reinstall the engine, well that's the plan anyways lol.
cheers barnsey
