My 1930 model a project

Been on here for awhile just really dont post much, fiqure I would share my project. I have had this car forvever just now in a mad rush to finish by feb. I turn 40 My Goal. Well anyway about to finish up the roof and its coming apart for body work and paint.
427 bbc chevy, chopped 3 1/2 ", channled 3", fender wells raised 2", doors suicided and flushed, " what a pain" ,boxed model a frame, roll cage, dropped 5" beam with wishbones, 9" with ladders, 15H x 17W ansen slots, 4"10 s 10 spokes and a slideing ragtop.The first pick of the car on the frame is mine, when I first drug it home.

Do I need to change the heading Yea motor has a set of 781's hogged out,
trw blower pistons, scat rods, steel crank, big old comp blower cam,vertex mag(old school), gonna try the predators for now, if not will have two 750dps, only running about 6lbs for now, tct th350, 3000 stall, 389 gears, should weigh in around 2800lbs. Should be a fun ride

You need a little more tire under the back. Very wicked ride, love the whole look. Nice thing about old cars, there are so many ways to build one. You saved one that looked pretty rough too, which is always good.

This is a great car. I mean BBC, Blown, chopped and Channled Ford, Super Traps it may not get any better than this. Good work and keep is in the loop I would like to see how this one comes along.

Well thanks for the kind words, I found a site that doesnt frown because I have big tires I am on the Hamb and they rag me about the pro street look. Will post up some more build picks.

Pro53, You know beauty is in the eye of the beholder. In "MY" opinion ( the only one I am qualified to speak to) You have this car Just Right, thats what I think. However I am not so vane as to think that everyone is going to or should think the same way. When a feller sets out to build a car for his self he actually only has to please one person. You are already way ahead on that thought. But then you already knew it was cool now didn't you? Doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks after that, now does it?

You do gotta start resizing those pictures though. To pretty a car to hide it in those giant pictures that take a lot of scrolling.

Sorry about the big picks will start going through photobucket to resize. I think its cool but my buddys dont say that. So thanks. After work today on my way to roll the roof piece with my buddy english wheel.

Yea!! keep the photos coming I mean I love this car. I have a couple of very old pictures of a sedan and I am going to build a car like that one day. Your's is kinda close to that old sedan in a way. So when I see yours I think about that project---- oh well one day.

After writing this reply I took a look in some of my old stuff, low and behold there that car was. So here's a pic but man they are small maybe you can telll a little about it though.

That sedan is wild lookin, I whish I could get a better look. Cant get the picure to blow up bigger. Is those picks out of a magazine? If so which one? You 55 chevy looks cool.
Is your 55f-100 a project? I got a 53 f100 almost done.

Yea it hard to hook up with a 6" wide whitewall And cheater slicks dont hook either, my neighbor had a pair
