As far as electronic, a couple of options come to mind. One would be to convert the Accel to electronic with a Pertronix kit.

Another option would be a stock Ford electronic distributor from a mid 70’s 302. The downside of the Ford unit is you would have to also have to mount the control modular (they’re about 4” X 4” X 1”) and wire it in. Neither is really that big of a deal and an advantage of using an OE type unit is that replacement parts like cap and rotor are readily available at almost any part store and cheap.
