    2.275 main svo or 351c so you would need to find a good shop to grind the crank to the 2.275 rework the thrust and put the radius back in the crank and re nitride / heat treat it cheaper to buy a drop in crank all the ones i done with dart blocks were all 2.275 and like it that way

    this has much to do with how and who made the crank some are not threw case hardening if was done and if just gased nitrided some cranks just grind it only 010 you are past it. so after you have to make your mined up to regas the crank or run it with a soft journal or put it back the way it came cutting any thing past 030 on a cased hard crank your going to want to check it

    198 what ? last 454 w block i did i used AFR cnc 225 heads they sprayed it and was running it to 9000 rpms.. i did not know this .. my numbers on a custom soild roller with PAC springs was a custom piston you can get a good ring pack with a 9.500 deck never lost a piston i used a 6.125 rod piston CH was good any thing under 1.125 CH i do not care much for
