WooHoo!! Happy Birthday, Mike!! That will hold a lot of ice cream!:LOL:
Thanks! it's a good lookin' piece and almost a shame to hide it under a car! LOL..
Now, more Ice Cream!
Now you're just being silly! HAH!
Oh, Mike, the "tool shed" reference is connected to an old joke about expanding the mid-section to the point of creating a shelter, aka "shed" over a particular "special tool". However, in so doing, it's possible to make the "shed" so large that it becomes difficult to access the "tool" when you really need to use it........:LOL::LOL:
Every good tool needs shelter, or at least a shelf
Must be a Mid-West "thing".... LOL..
Well this weekend I shed the "tool shed".. and crawled around under the car and got that new basepan installed. wasn't bad to do all things considered. The steering rack mount was just barely touching one corner but the mount is slotted at the bolts so it was an easy adjustment. 7 quarts of oil with the filter.
Hey Meller, you need a basepan to replace that leaky one you had?
Next stop, dual quads!
Spent some hours getting the carbs apart and ready for the soaking. I had forgotten how bad those Holley gaskets can cling and harden up!
I was blissfully unaware until about 2 pm... LOL..:LOL: anyway, it's progress..
----and the longer the old carbs set the worse the gaskets are to get off!!!!! Betcha they go together with the new non-stick gaskets?????:LOL:
