if going with EFI, the EFI 5.0L HO would be very hard to beat.. Mustangs and late 80's/ early 90's Lincoln Mark VII LSC's got them.. used with an aftermarket retrofit harness and the factory ECU, they can be just as reliable as they were in the Lincoln or Mustang.. if gotten out of a junkyard, it might be a good idea to get new injectors and put new gaskets between the upper and lower intakes... there the engine of choice for '83-'97 V8 Ford Rangers.You don't know what you've got til it's gone

Thanks for the info. I have two carb 302's that need rebuilt but I was toying with the idea of using a FI 302 from a donor car or pickup. I'm trying to get all the info I can before I start my build. It's nice to know there is a wiring kit and is there some good literature on this?
