Exactly uppster, I know nothing and I can prove it! That's why I'll stick with plug and play for now. The fuel end of things won't change and the air coming in won't know the difference as the MAF sensor takes care of it. My choice of the Ford ecm is for convenience and if necessary, it can be flashed or cracked and reprogrammed plus it appeals to my basic hot rod belief in diy cheaply. I want it to be inexpensive, easy, and look sixties compatible. It keeps my tiny brain occupied for a while too.
