351 w oil pan

i am doing a 351w engine .the guy is putting it in a 72/74? torino any ways i have two stock pans front sump and dual sump ?? he can not tell me or look at what may fit the car.so what pan to put on it ? anyone knows what pan will fit is thing .Thanks .god help me i am working on another ford

Pat, I would ask him to take a few measurements from the firewall to the steering, and mounts to the steering. That will give you a better idea. And what kind of car ?

Is the oil dip stick in the timing cover ? If so, front sump oil pan...If not, you will have to change the timing cover, I believe.

thanks denny the engine came out of a van and he pick up parts at the swap meet stuff and just drop all off to me so it s hines 57 of parts

use the front sump pan .. if need be you can drill a new dip stickhole in the timing cover .. the boss is there even in the rear sump pan style front cover .. then install a front sump dip stick ..

Pat, sounds like your fuel filter is plugged....

Turn the modem off for 10 secs, and then back on, and let it go through the sequence to reestablish the settings. That usually does the trick. It can get it's second wind...

72-76 full size and mid size came with front sump pans.
