    I built a 347 for a customer.
    The engine was maybe 500 hp.
    The car was running 6.80's in the 1/8 and he cracked the block in the lifter valley.
    The engine only had about 35 pass's on it.
    My advice to people is save your money and go Dart.

    If you shop around you should be able to find the Dart Iron Eagle for about $2,000.

    I've seen the Iron Eagles on eBay lately, usually someplace from $1800-$2400, just takes some shopping.....

    Oh ,I forgot to mention ,the new big block boss heads are designed to fit a standard 385 seriers block .....429 /460 blocks.
    Its gunna take longer than u thought and its gunna cost more too(plan ahead!)
