If it is not going out the pipes where can it be going?

Unless it's going out the tail pipe - I doubt it. This 5.4 and my earlier 4.6's are the cleanest engines I've ever had - NO leaks. Ever. If, based on my experience and IMHO, I want to change brands, it wont be back to Castrol

Exactly - because there is no leak and if it goes out the tailpipe, it has to be breaking down, at least in my engines - and it has found a way out, but not a 'visible' way. Originally Posted by erik erikson

If the oil is going out the tailpipe has nothing to do with it "breaking down". Originally Posted by Irelands child

I feel that like STP, when you heat and cool things, your buildup also does the same thing. Just keeps adding layer after layer.

Thanks guys! It's been a long road. Fun doing finishing work for sure. Getting the dash ready for paint and some interior trim. Have to do some finish work on the aluminum headliner before...
