Hey 2 low, went out and looked at an old Torino dash I have with factory tach, the redline on it is at 5,000 rpm. Guess the guys at Ford though 5 was plenty.. The engine will have it's max torque built by about 4000 to 4500 anyway, might as well grab another gear and keep on going...Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
