Plumb a new fuel line for supply and use the old one for the return line. You can use the high pressure frame mounted pump from an F-150 with EFI. Do not retain the stock shifter, it's a piece of crap. Spring for an aftermarket shifter with adjustable detents or you will wind up buying new shifter forks and then buying the aftermarket shifter.
