At this point my other engine option is a 351W short block from Advanced Engine Exchange, fitted with Performer heads, cam, intake and carb.
With this combo I would use either a C-6 or C-4 Sizzler from TCI and rear end gearing around the 3.25 range.
So, C-4 or C-6 and why?
