Distributor won't work, too short for the 351. There's a change in the starters in mid'82, I believe, and the Windsor ring gear has a balance weight, you have to use the one for that engine so depending on what tranny you use, there might be a problem there. Best to use the trans that is on the 351. The C-4 Cougar tranny isn't the best one for a Windsor anyway.
