block is back!
Just got my block back from machine shop. Bored .030 over, align honed mains, magnafluxed, cam bearings installed, freeze plugs.etc. Also had rods checked, pistons pressed on, weight matched, new rod bolts, main and head studs installed. I can't remember now if I can use a 428 crank with my 390 rods to make a 410 or if I have to have 428 rods. Any advice? Btw, shop said I shouldn't have any problem with 100-150 hit of nitrous with my rods or pistons. They seemed reasonably sure that if I kept the nos at this or a lower level I wouldn't need much else....
