    they are one to one and gears are not staight cut so they do not play on each other back lash . the live two idlers that some cheap gear drive use are like a ratchet alot of staigth cut gears and alot of play going on in the set up this is the sound .if you go one to one on the cam Isky did them for sbc and Gm did a BBC off road cam must be custom ground as its going the other way the marine rev cams are geard one to one and they work fine that the only way i use them when i say one to one by this i mean gear to gear
