I'm definitely not a Ford guy so I can't answer your engine questions but back in my younger days, I had a close friend with a Ford 406 with 3 2bbl carbs, maybe that's what you have. i have only owned this car 6 weeks. in the progress of rebuilding all window regulators, just finished doing all the brakes and a couple of front end bushings. car does not need much.
