Behind the FE, I understand that you either had a c6 or a toploader from the factory, correct?

what other manual transmission options were there?
I've had c6's in two of my trucks. With the 300/6 I didn't mind it, with the 7.3 diesel I despised it and replaced it with a zf5 (which I'm very happy about).

I'd consider the toploader, tho I'd either have to gear the rear end high, or find a gearvendor$ od. BTW, anyone have a link for the gear ratios of the toploader? can't seem to find it.
