    transmission for FE

I have a '61 cruis-o-matic 3 speed automatic trans, but i was wondering if there is any 5 speed manual trans' that will bolt to an FE without special adapter plates, that should be okay to use without screwing up with slightly higher HP and torque than stock.

your going to need an adapter and get the world class 5 -speed. replace the alum. throwout bearing collar with a steel one. or you use the doug nash 5-speed.
