    take out a spark plug..... run the cylinder to tdc and insert a wire in the plug hole til it touches the piston, put a mark on the wire at the plug hole.... Run the cylinder to bdc, insert the wire in the plug hole till it touches the piston, mark the wire at the same place on the plug hole. Measure the distance between the marks, this will give you the stroke.

    oh yeah..

    429 stroke is 3.59
    460 stroke is 3.85
