Denny,I know the Ford was wrong also but by how much I am un-sure.
I would like to know what head casting numbers where used on the Ford or the best flowing factory head that you could have got at the time.
I also want to know the factory cam specs. on the Ford.
I would say the Hemi would be off by over 200 hp.

I'm wondering what head castings they were too. Dove made a few versions of the tunnelport heads and intake. Based on the factory molds and most retained either the SK or factory casting number. Those would get better numbers. Other than that the C7AE-6090-K was pretty much the standard service head offered thru the early 70's.

I have watched the tests three times now.
I would say the 426 Hemi is over rated by a min.of 200 hp. in other words I would say it would be much closer to the 600 hp area.
I think the FE would be closer to the 575 hp,I think it would take a huge mech. cam to even come close to the 637 area and I think it would be at a much higher rpm.
