Thread: Is this the best price for FE headers?

I have a set of Stan's on my 429 in a 57 Ranchero. Good quality, but
were hard to get on. They're fine after some trimming on some things.
These are just street type with the ball ends w/no collectors.
The car is just too low now to run real Headers. The collectors would
normally go under so low to clear the rear crossmember. I am happy with
his now that they are on. Custon headers are always the best.

My concern now is that I have an early FE block in a late body (66), and i had to modify my engine mounts to get the engine back far enough to connect with the cruis-o-matic.

more fun fun fun. It sure does run nice though.

I hope I didn't jump the gun on these headers.

they fit fine and look GREAT!! highly recommended.
