Probably not the cheapest prices, but with the thick flanges and thick wall tubing they would be a long lasting set of headers.... There's still a lot of headers out there in the $100.00 range, sometimes higher depending on the application. Good FE headers are going to be expensive cuz there's not a lot of them being made....
I cannot find any other source for this vehicle. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
hooker skips this car as well as hedman best as i can tell.
I have bought Hooker Super Comp for a 63 Galaxie before. It does'nt sound
too high from what I've paid in the past. It cost me $300.00 just for the
flanges, tubing and collectors from Hooker to build my own. And it was
from Mexico.
Shoprat is right I THINK the Hookers for the 63 Gal are the 6113's. What brand were those headers you posted? FPA sells a set for the Gal too I think.
The 6205's are the 61-64 Galaxie headers sorry not the 6113.

Well, I doubt seriously you will regret spending the extra $$$$ for some quality headers.... They will look better, last longer, and send more heat out the pipes and leave less heat accumulating under the hood!!!!
Good luck with those. I've heard Stan can be a big pr**k if there are problems with the headers fitting and you call him. He'll say you car/engine is the problem and not his headers. Seems to be a 50/50 mix of good and bad.
edit...just wanted to add most headers will need a little massage here and there. I buy them painted and make sure they fit...then get them coated.
I have a set of Stan's on my 429 in a 57 Ranchero. Good quality, but
were hard to get on. They're fine after some trimming on some things.
These are just street type with the ball ends w/no collectors.
The car is just too low now to run real Headers. The collectors would
normally go under so low to clear the rear crossmember. I am happy with
his now that they are on. Custon headers are always the best.

My concern now is that I have an early FE block in a late body (66), and i had to modify my engine mounts to get the engine back far enough to connect with the cruis-o-matic.
more fun fun fun. It sure does run nice though.
